Born in Turin on 13 August 1954. Contract professor and self-employed lawyer, qualified in criminology, military law and international humanitarian law.

Previous positions: Honorary Deputy Public Prosecutor (Public Prosecutor's Office, Turin), President of the Disciplinary Arbitration Board (ASL 7 Piedmont), Member of the Board of Directors of ENASARCO, Consultant to the Port Authority (Gioia Tauro).
In 2008 he completed the NATO CIMIC BASIC COURSE 01/08 and took part in the Full Operational Capability "Lightning 08" in a Legal Mentoring role.
Honour: Cross of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
