Brigadier General (retired) of the Carabinieri Corps. Graduate in Law with a thesis in Criminal Law from La Sapienza University of Rome. Specialisation in Criminal Law and Criminology (La Sapienza). Second-Level Master's in Forensic Sciences (Criminology, Investigation, Security, Intelligence).
He served as an Officer of the Judicial Police within the Department of Public Security, at the Central Criminal Investigation Division and the Scientific Police Service. Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the School for Police Inspectors and the State Police School.
During his career in the Carabinieri Corps he held various officer posts, up to the position of Commander of the Training Department (RIS — Carabinieri Scientific Investigations). Lecturer in legal and technical subjects in the field of scientific investigations, at the Carabinieri Officers' School and the La Sapienza Master's programme.
